Register for "The Vietnam War: A Look at America’s Political, Social, and Cultural Revolutions"
1 March, 2027 8:30 AM CT - 2:15 PM CT | Hosted by: Jenks Public Schools | Jenks, OK | Discussion Leader: TBA
The Vietnam War brought widespread protests, political division, and cultural change. Graphic media coverage abroad and at home increased public opposition, while the Pentagon Papers exposed government mistrust. The war led to deep divisions in American society and changed public attitudes toward government and military involvement. Join us ‘at the table’ for a conversation on this tumultuous time in United States history.
This program will be conducted as a discussion, utilizing primary source documents as the only readings, and with the Discussion Leader facilitating the conversation, instead of lecturing or presenting. Registrants, therefore, are highly encouraged to read all the documents in advance and come ready with questions. Teachers will receive a Letter of Attendance at the conclusion of the seminar.

“The in-depth conversations and primary sourcing leads to such a multifaceted understanding of the figure. I love to get differing perspectives!” —Andrea B.
